Andrei Vasilevskiy

Andrei Vasilevskiy is a hockey goalie in the NHL and plays for the Tampa Bay Lightning. Andrei is one of the best goalies in the NHL with a save percentage of .943. He joined the NHL in 2012 and ended up getting put back down to the AHL.

Andrei Vasilevskiy was born July 25, 1994, Tyumen Russia. He grew up with a deaf father named Andrei Vasilevski, and his mother named Liudmila Vaslievskaiai. He has a wife named Kseniya Vasilevskaya and a son named Lukas Vasilevskiy.

Andrei Vasilevskiy was drafted to the NHL in 2012 and was picked 19th overall by the Tampa Bay Lightning but on September 27th ,2014 Andrei was assigned to the Syracuse Crunch of the America hockey league or the AHL. On December 15, he was called the player of the week because he only let in one goal in fifty-six shots and had a save percentage of .982. On December 16,2015 he was recalled back to the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Andrei Vasilevskiy has one three different awards such as the Vezina trophy in 2019, Conn Smythe trophy in 2021, and the NHL All-Star team 2019, and 2021.

Andrei Vasilevskiy is 6ft 3in and 224 pounds. He catches left, he has 28 shutouts, he has played 323 games in his career, and he has played 8 years in the NHL.

Andrei Vasilevskiy had a real rough time trying to get into the NHL because he got put down and then put up with a little patience, he made It back into the NHL.
